My sewing fail
Nailed it y’all!
Check me out! My dreams of one day having my own Etsy shop are obviously just moments away. Sewing up my first pair a shoes dawg. All yall sewing fools aint got nuttin on this!………BOOM!
Whipped this up in no time flat fools. There’s gotta be some kinda world record for this kind of talent, or some award or sumpin right?
Just call me streak lightning yall. Took me 4day’s flat to finish this baby.
It look so good, I didn’t even bother making the second one yall. Can’t beat perfection am I right? I said am I right?
I mean I am one shoe sewing, felt lovin, queen of the stitch Etsy diva over here yall. Yall might as well just put them sewing machines up. Aint no sense in sewing anything up now fools. It just gonna be sub par yall.
Shoot.
(Scroll down for perfection)

MMM hmm, and what?

BOOM!

Ummmm….why were you making shoes? Try a pillow case, they are easy to make! I give you credit I would not have even tried these! Found you from the blog hop.
Ok. They look… um… unique?
WORD TO YOU AND YO MAD SKILLZ…
umm, that really is something…
Carrie
Wow, grl… That um… shoe, right?… that shoe is… AWESOME! I think you can quit your day job now.
I simply have now words to say! hahahahahahaha
Love it
Ooooh, purdy. It’s like one of them shoes for one-footed dawgs, right?
I think it is a really good attempt. I am sorry you will not be opening your Etsy store tomorrow. You made have done well with the uniquiness of your shoe skills.
You made d’ose? Fo’ shizzle? Them be dope, man! Or maybe you was on dope when you made them? bwahaha.
It’s good you can laugh at yourself! I’ve had many sewing fails that make me want to hurl my machine across the room, but it’s an addiction and I always find myself going back for more.
Oh my gosh Theresa you crack me up lady! Your nuts!!
I learned how to sew on my great aunt’s old treadle sewing machine, so I can only go forwards and backwards. A shoe would be beyond anything I could even THINK about doing, so you get my vote for being one heck of an optimist….
Sewing takes time. Just keep on practicing.
And…it’s not a shoe…it’s a chew toy for the dog.
see…now it’s AWESOME
I don’t think that awesomeness can be repeated! I won’t even try. I say you get an A for effort. I wouldn’t even attempt to walk by a sewing store (is that even what it’s called?) You outshine me on your worst day!

I’d buy that ;-p Your sewing attempts are similar to mine – my machine sits on my craft table and taunts me!!!
Oh my gosh. I think I cried a little reading this. I can totally relate; most of my crafts (I swear) look like the local preschool was doing free play. While I’m sure that being hired as a cobbler is not in your future, with your mad writing skills who cares if you can make shoes???
Hear hear!
Bwahahaha! Love you Julia!
At least you tried! It’s the folks that don’t and then moan that get my goat! Just loved reading the post – even if I didn’t quite understand all of it! But then, I’m just a silver surfer from across the Pond! Good luck with you next attempt!
Isobel:
So what exactly is a “Silver surfer”? Do you really surf or am I missing something? I just have to know!
wow good for you! ps found you through thirsty thursday
I love it and have so been there! Usually I am so frustrated I throw the fail away and don’t think to write a post about it though! Love your attitude even more! GREAT JOB! =)
Holly
Don’t worry the best of us fail sometimes. I cannot sew shoes either. Tried and failed. It was just baby booties!! I will try it again soon though.
Also, I wanted to stop by and tell you I nominated your blog for the leibster award. Another blogger nominated me and in turn I have to do the same.
Come check it out and you will understand a bit more.
